Add a little flavor to your dark greens.
Blue Cheese Dressing
1 Cup sour cream
1 Cup mayonnaise
1 Cup blue cheese crumbles
1 Tsp. dried parsley
1 Tsp. garlic powder
1/8 Cup of half-and-half
– Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, parsley, and garlic in a bowl with lid (for mixing and storage). Mix well.
– Add blue cheese crumbles. Mix well
– Add half-and-half to thin the dressing. Mix well.
Store in the refrigerator for at least an hour before using to let the flavors meld together.
Olive Oil Dressing
1 1/2 Cup extra virgin olive
1/8 tsp. Black cumin powder
1/8 tsp. Garlic powder.
1/8 tsp. Onion powder.
1/8 Black pepper
Pinch turmeric
Put all ingredients into a glass olive oil bottle dispenser (14 oz. or larger) and shake well. Shake mixture well before every use.
Thousand Island
2 Cups mayonnaise
1/4 Cup sweet (no sugar added) pickle relish
1 Medium tomato
1/8 tsp. of allspice
Pinch salt
Pinch black pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. Yellow mustard.
– Spoon mayonnaise into a bowl with lid (for mixing and storage).
– Place tomato in blender with allspice, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Blend well.
– Add to tomato mix to mayonnaise.
– Stir in sweet pickle relish and mustard.
Chill for a couple hours before using.
