{"id":1248,"date":"2023-09-13T22:00:10","date_gmt":"2023-09-14T02:00:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tcoulter.com\/WP\/?page_id=1248"},"modified":"2023-09-13T22:31:41","modified_gmt":"2023-09-14T02:31:41","slug":"cauliflower-rice-and-black-beans","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/tcoulter.com\/WP\/whats-cooking\/cauliflower-rice-and-black-beans","title":{"rendered":"Cauliflower Rice and Black Beans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>12 oz. bag of frozen cauliflower rice<br \/>\n15 oz. can of black beans<br \/>\n1\/4 cup of mixed chopped onion and peppers<br \/>\n1 teaspoon of minced garlic<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon celery flakes<br \/>\n1\/4 teaspoon cumin<br \/>\n1\/4 teaspoon of salt<br \/>\n2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning<br \/>\nPinch of cayenne<\/p>\n<p>Prepare cauliflower rice per package directions.<br \/>\nIn a medium sized saucepan, combine black beans with additional ingredients.<br \/>\nHeat on medium high for 10 minutes.<br \/>\nCombine black bean mixture with prepared cauliflower.<br \/>\nHeat on medium low heat for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.<\/p>\n<p>For extra flavor, try adding chopped andouille sausage, chopped summer sausage, seasoned chicken pieces, or seasoned hamburger.  For a special treat, add sausages and chicken.
